Amrit Cojocaru is a Faculty Associate teaching the Inclusive Education Graduate Diploma Program at Simon Fraser University. Prior to working with in-service teachers, Amrit worked as a classroom teacher, learning support team (special education) teacher, and social development teacher in British Columbia, Canada. Her research interests focus around equity and the inclusion of students into schooling systems through culturally sustaining pedagogy, universal design for learning, trauma sensitive healing practices, and Indigenous worldviews and perspectives.
